| AirTran
seems to be running neck and neck with Southwest as one of the most
unreliable airlines in the world. Speaking of unreliable, Southwest
is the ABSOLUTE Worst Airline based upon it's constant bumping of
people, canceled flights and poor customer service. In fact, Southwest
is just so bold (to send the message the home to consumers) that
they actually star in their very own television production of "Airline"
in which they share their experiences and insights with a national
audience.
"Airline" gives you a taste of the good, the bad and the
ugly (plenty of bad and ugly to go around). While Southwest is busy
sharing its business (more of a warning to potential customers)
with a national audience on television, AirTran is busy
on the ground sharing its business with its customers on a not so
"one-to-one" basis. Their toll free customer service can
be as much a nightmare as their "in-person" terminal customer
service.
Maybe AirTran and Southwest should merge, as their level of customer
service is just about equal. Southwest is just a few comments away

Just
what are these people thinking? I was recently in Atlanta and just
about every Air Tran flight was re-diverted. The plane I was scheduled
to fly on was re-directed to Los Angeles and this started a domino
effect in which one plane after another was diverted elsewhere stranding
hundreds of customers. What should have been a 40 minute layover
turned into a 10 hour layover. I called Air Tran customer service
and they offered no help, assistance or even an apology! Whatever
happened to the "customer is always right" (at least some
of the time?)

Our
Air Tran flight had to make an emergency landing in Memphis and
I missed my connection in Atlanta. I called the Air Tran toll free
number and was told that it was my fault I missed my connection!
In Atlanta, I was told the same thing. It was my fault! Now, I ask
anyone, just how is it my fault I missed my connection when their
plane ran out of fuel and had to make an emergency landing?

There's
no doubt that you get what you pay for with Air Tran. From flight
scheduling problems to lousy in-flight service - to a toll free
number, which keeps you on hold just as long their delays. Get it
together Air Tran!

Why
have a toll free number when they offer NO help whatsoever! What
a waste! On hold forever, disconnected in the middle of my phone
call. Call back and offered no help a second and third time.

AirTran should outsource their customer service to India or some

once, Southwest twice, never again. The government should impose
fines on these airlines when they over sell their seats or at least
make these airlines give you a free ticket plus, a refund! There's
no accountability.
